Qualifications

  • B.Tech/M.Sc. in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance within the food‐beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, GHP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and related food safety standards.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory instruments and interpreting analytical data.
  • Excellent problem‐solving and root‐cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a small QC team.
  • Familiarity with internal and external audit processes.
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, ERP/QMS systems).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to work in a shift environment at the Pathankot plant.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and monitor in‐process, raw material, packaging material, and finished product quality activities.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, GHP, HACCP, and food safety specifications.
  • Supervise and deploy the Quality Control / Line Quality team effectively.
  • Track critical quality parameters on production lines and initiate corrective actions promptly.
  • Review laboratory test results, quality reports, deviations, and non‐conformities.
  • Investigate quality issues and coordinate root‐cause analysis with Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse.
  • Maintain calibration, verification, and availability of laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation and records per company and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal, customer, certification, and external audits.
  • Drive quality improvement projects, process enhancements, and reduction of quality‐related losses.
