Our client is seeking an experienced
Assistant Manager – PropTech
to manage and deliver the digital roadmap for its real estate business while serving as the Yardi System Administrator.
This role will be responsible for managing Yardi applications, supporting PropTech initiatives, optimizing business systems, and ensuring seamless digital operations across the real estate portfolio.
Proptech Strategy & Digital Roadmap
- Drive the digital roadmap for the real estate business by delivering innovative PropTech solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through digital transformation initiatives.
- Manage real estate project management systems and other business-critical applications supporting the business unit.
Yardi System Administration
- Administer, configure, maintain, and optimize the Yardi platform, including software updates, customizations, and enhancements.
- Manage user accounts, security roles, permissions, and system access.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all Yardi modules.
- Support the implementation of new Yardi modules and platform enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and recommend continuous improvements.
Application Support & Business Systems
- Provide functional and technical support to business users by troubleshooting and resolving Yardi-related issues.
- Generate financial, operational, leasing, and management reports using Yardi reporting tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Yardi with other enterprise applications.
- Maintain application availability and ensure SLA compliance for all property business applications.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Yardi-related technical matters.
- Manage external support vendors, procurement activities, budgets, and service contracts.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and deliver technology initiatives.
- Coordinate end-to-end execution with business users, procurement teams, and technology vendors.
Governance & Compliance
- Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, SOPs, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, governance standards, and industry regulations.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives across PropTech platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager (mandatory).
- Experience with Yardi RENTCafe, Yardi Leasing, or other Yardi modules is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of property management and real estate business processes.
- Experience in system testing, troubleshooting, implementation, and issue resolution.
- Proven project management experience delivering system upgrades and application enhancements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to business stakeholders.
- Yardi or other property management software certifications are desirable.
- UAE work experience is highly preferred.
- Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
Required Skillset
- Expertise in Yardi Voyager administration and PropTech platforms.
- Strong understanding of property management, leasing, and real estate operational workflows.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications and business systems.
- Strong reporting, data management, and system optimization capabilities.
- Application lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and user support expertise.
- Vendor management, budgeting, procurement, and SLA management experience.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent documentation, governance, communication, and presentation abilities.
