Position Overview

Hub and Network Operations

• Lead daily inbound, outbound, and transit operations; follow network schedules, workflows, and SOPs.
• Plan hub activities around shipment volumes and priorities and optimize infrastructure, resources, and manpower.
• Coordinate shipment receipt, processing, consolidation, dispatch, and movement through air, surface, and feeder networks.
• Monitor loading, unloading, scanning, tallying, vehicle placement, and dock activities to improve accuracy and turnaround.
• Manage delays, misconnections, misroutes, disruptions, and shipment backlogs; coordinate recovery actions and operational updates.

People, Fleet, and Service

• Lead shift employees, supervisors, and outsourced workers; plan staffing, brief teams, and support coaching and training.
• Coordinate fleet partners and vendors; monitor vehicle availability, utilization, dock use, and capacity needs.
• Monitor shipment accuracy, scanning, dispatch quality, service timelines, and performance; implement corrective and continuous-improvement actions.
• Coordinate with internal network, aviation, surface, customer service, security, and regional teams and escalate risks and service issues.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, operational SOPs, applicable aviation or transportation regulations, statutory requirements, security controls, and safety practices.
• Support operational, security, and quality audits; close audit observations and implement preventive measures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• For Assistant Manager – Hub Operations (Grade M), 4–7 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated experience leading medium to large hub operations.
• Experience managing inbound, outbound, and transit operations in an air or surface logistics network and leading frontline teams in high-volume, time-sensitive environments.
• Experience with fleet coordination, shipment movement, operational planning, and network performance management.
• A degree or certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Transportation Management is an advantage.
• The description also lists Senior Executive – Hub Operations (Grade N) with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
