Role overview
Manage fund administration services for specific mutual fund, insurance, AIF, and PMS clients within the Fund Administration team in Securities Services.
Act as a subject matter expert for the assigned operations area and support the unit’s longer-term strategic vision.
Principal responsibilities
- Calculate NAV accurately and provide timely, accurate daily client reporting.
- Prepare client and regulatory reports in prescribed formats and within timelines.
- Handle statutory, SEBI, and internal audits for mutual fund, insurance, and AIF clients.
- Improve productivity and contribute to cost-saving or revenue-enhancement initiatives by automating manual processes.
- Meet operational memoranda and client SLAs; assess whether new client requirements are feasible.
- Track competitors’ service propositions and best practices, and identify service improvements and client value-adds.
- Maintain efficient, error-free operations by following process notes and daily checklists and monitoring performance with tools or triggers.
- Identify, assess, mitigate, and control operational risks, including gaps that may lead to fraud or lapses.
- Implement Global Standards.
- Assist with the implementation of system changes, testing, and compliance with FIM and relevant local regulations.
Qualifications and experience
- Sound knowledge of SEBI mutual fund regulations and financial accounting.
- At least 2–3 years of work experience.
- A Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in accounting is preferred.
- Capital market exposure is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage.
