Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (mandatory).
  • 3–5 years of experience in account journal entries, accruals, and balance‐sheet reconciliation.
  • Hands‐on experience with month‐end closing and Record‐to‐Report processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables (good to have).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated client‐facing exposure and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Team player with a proactive problem‐solving attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post accurate account journal entries on a daily basis.
  • Execute month‐end closing activities in line with timelines and standards.
  • Calculate and post accruals for expenses and revenues.
  • Perform bank and balance‐sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to address queries.
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within the RTR cycle.
  • Utilize Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, IFRS/GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
