Roles and Responsibilities

• Support the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements for management review.

• Compile, analyze, and interpret financial data for decision-making.

• Develop and maintain management reports and dashboards.

• Assist in implementing and monitoring internal financial controls.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Support payroll, VAT, and statutory compliance.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Monitor financial performance including revenues, expenses, and variances.

• Support working capital and cash flow management.

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

• Support Cost control

• Support financial planning for short-term and long-term business objectives.

• Provide financial insights to improve operational and departmental efficiency.

• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders including auditors and banks.

• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior accountants and finance staff to improve their technical knowledge, productivity, and professional development.

Qualification and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Professional certification (ACCA/CPA/CA/CMA) preferred or in progress.

• Proven experience in finance, accounting, or supervisory finance role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and reporting.

• Proficient in financial systems and advanced MS Excel.

• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.

• High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
