Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting operations, ledger reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and supporting schedules across entities and currencies.
  • Support month-end close, cost allocation, outstanding-item reconciliations, and audit-ready records.
  • Manage procure-to-pay, including invoice validation, approvals, payments, reconciliations, and vendor queries.
  • Monitor purchase orders, invoice ageing, statements of account, due dates, liabilities, and blocked invoices.
  • Oversee vendor onboarding, master data, payment controls, relationships, and escalations.
  • Support cash flow planning and coordinate banking, payment execution, and transaction issue resolution.
  • Support commercial purchasing and procurement in line with budgets, purchase orders, contractual terms, and Delegation of Authority.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs; identify process improvement, standardization, and automation opportunities.
  • Maintain dashboards and trackers for accounts payable ageing, vendor performance, payment commitments, and process efficiency.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end closure, reconciliations, cash flow planning, and internal financial controls.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Query, presentation tools, and ERP/accounting systems; workflow automation and reporting tools are an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and vendor relationship skills.
  • Ability to supervise junior team members, manage competing priorities, and drive process improvements while maintaining financial governance.
