We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Manager to support our growing operations and help lead our team to success.
Job Description
As an Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the bakery.
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth workflow across production, customer service, inventory, staffing, and overall store performance.
This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high operational and service standards in a fast-paced environment.
You will also be expected to foster a positive, inclusive, and professional workplace culture, ensuring that all team members are treated with respect and supported in their growth and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily bakery operations, including production, customer service, inventory, scheduling, and cleanliness.
- Supervise, support, and guide staff to ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and support to improve productivity and service quality.
- Ensure all bakery products consistently meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
- Handle customer concerns, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, coordinating orders, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
- Assist in preparing staff schedules, managing attendance, and ensuring adequate manpower coverage.
- Coordinate with team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Support management in implementing promotions, operational improvements, and business initiatives.
- Assist in training new employees and ensuring proper onboarding procedures are followed.
- Prepare basic operational reports, including staffing, inventory, and sales summaries when required.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and inclusivity.
