About This Role

Job Purpose:

  • The DLP Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing all contracts under the DLP functions.
  • The DLP Assistant Manager will utilize technology and quality personal interactions to guarantee the customer experience reflects the value of their investment in the projects and their standing as an important client.
  • The DLP Assistant Manager shall lead the appointed team for seamless handover and DLP processes and ensure a strong first impression to end users/clients during the delivery process to ensure optimum customer service and always meet the service expectations.

Roles, Responsibilities, Duties:

  • Manage all DLP and handover service requests
  • Manage all snags reported by owners and any snag reported by stakeholders
  • Report daily on the service requests received from owners
  • Manage snags reported during DLP and route it through to the main contractor with tracking
  • Utilize necessary access to relevant systems required for operations and reporting functions Arrange regular progress meetings with the main contractor to check progress of DLP close out Escalate unattended or disputed DLP snags
  • Develop and maintain a file of disputed snags for final settlement deductions to the main contractor
  • Support in customer escalations and update the customers with work progress.
  • Support with evidence and information in case of a dispute between DLP matters
  • Provide recommendations to apply any necessary changes required to enhance operations or journey
  • Utilize portal and relevant systems for snagging and inspections
  • Manage list of owners of the units to be handed over
  • Coordinate with the Projects Team and contractors to ensure updated project information
  • Follow up with the Contractor and the Projects Team to address DLP issues reported
  • Schedule daily; weekly meetings and regular periodic meetings with the contractor and Projects team
  • Verify completion and rectification of DLP snags by the Contractor
  • Support in any additional correspondence required by the clients
  • Ability to analyze project performance, technical and commercial
  • Prepare presentations and reports
  • Managing teams under DLP function
  • Successfully deliver contracts through meetings assigned KPIs and SLAs
  • Development of job descriptions and conducting interviews for candidates within managed teams Manage complete end to end process of DLP

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management, or related field
  • 5+ Years of experience in Handover
  • Fluent in Arabic and English

Experience and Skills:

  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with the client
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions
  • Proficiency for computing use, i.e., word processing, spreadsheet, and presentations
  • Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients
  • Drive to improve business practice and meet or exceed targets
  • Experience in client care
  • Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work
  • Decision-making skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Ability to think strategically
