About the Job
Here's your chance to step into the role of Assistant Manager - Data Engineering at Dubai Holding Entertainment . In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory .
- Develop and optimise data processing solutions for batch and near real-time analytics
- Create structured data models and databases to support reporting and business insights
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for data solutions using Azure DevOps
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and reliability through validation and monitoring practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Improve performance and cost-efficiency of data platforms in a cloud environment
- Design and implement data models , schemas, and stored procedures in SQL Server for analytics and reporting.
About You
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in building data pipelines, data models, and database solutions
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data processing techniques
- Experience with automation, version control, and deployment practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
