To lead and drive the planning, execution, monitoring, and commissioning of Boiler Auxiliary Systems for large-scale thermal power projects, ensuring safe, timely, and reliable startup of Boiler auxiliaries in line with overall unit commissioning schedules. The role is responsible for achieving project milestones, ensuring operational readiness, maintaining safety and quality compliance, and supporting successful synchronization and commercial operation of generating units.

Qualifications
- Qualifications and Experience Essential Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.
- Preferred Qualification
- M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- MBA / PGDM in Operations / Project Management.
- Experience
- 8–12 Years of relevant experience in Thermal Power Projects.
- Mandatory Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Boiler Auxiliary Erection, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Startup, and Performance Testing activities.
- Experience in Thermal Power Projects with Unit capacities of 500 MW, 600 MW, 660 MW, 800 MW, or higher.

Responsibilities
- Boiler Auxiliary Commissioning
- Lead commissioning activities of Boiler Auxiliary packages from mechanical completion through performance testing and handover to Operations.
- Develop and monitor commissioning schedules, resource deployment plans, and system-wise commissioning strategies.
- Ensure commissioning activities are executed in line with approved procedures, commissioning methodologies, and project schedules.
- Drive timely closure of punch points, deficiencies, and commissioning observations.

- Prepare commissioning schedules and resource rolling plans.
- Monitor weekly and monthly MIS related to drawings, materials, commissioning status, manpower, and resources.
- Ensure availability of commissioning consumables, tools, equipment, and spares.
- Monitor contractor productivity and commissioning progress against project milestones.
- Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to Adani Power Safety Standards, PTW systems, LOTO procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Review and approve JSA, HIRA, commissioning methodologies, SOPs, and commissioning checklists.
- Conduct commissioning readiness reviews before startup activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality plans, OEM recommendations, and project specifications.
- Drive a zero-harm culture during all commissioning activities.
- Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Electrical, C&I, CHP, Civil, and Operations teams.
- Liaise with EPC contractors, consultants, OEMs, and commissioning agencies.
- Resolve interface issues impacting commissioning schedules and project progress.
- Support management reviews and project milestone assessments.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Monitor commissioning progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Ensure proper documentation of commissioning records, SOPs, checklists, and test reports.
- Facilitate smooth handover of commissioned systems to Operations & Maintenance teams.
- Present commissioning status, critical issues, and recovery plans to senior management.
