Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Finance Manager / Senior Accountant based in Riyadh.
The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, participate in budgeting and forecasting, manage financial records, and assist in preparing financial reports.
The role also involves analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
The Assistant Finance Manager/Senior Accountant will play a key role in developing and implementing financial strategies to support the organization’s goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Record bank entries and upload financial transactions to banking platforms.
- Assist in setting, developing, implementing, and evaluating the objectives of the Finance Department, as well as developing and managing the department’s annual budget.
- Review and audit all financial transactions in terms of supporting documents, accuracy of accounts, validity of signatures, authorities, receipts, and approvals to ensure compliance with approved policies and procedures.
- Prepare reconciliations between the company’s accounts and external parties to ensure the accuracy of balances in the system.
- Follow up on all receivables and payables and ensure proper recording in the system, including supplier and third-party accounts.
- Prepare financial statements and annual results by providing all required data through the accounting system.
- Review accounting entries and financial data in the accounting system and perform necessary analyses and comparisons.
- Review data required for final accounts and the balance sheet and prepare necessary adjusting entries.
- Review and support the preparation of budget data and variance analysis reports between actual and budgeted figures.
- Issue periodic reports on financial operations and performance.
- Review financial claims, monitor collection processes, and analyze receivables.
- Review fixed asset records and related periodic reports.
- Monitor employee advances and ensure timely settlement in accordance with company policies.
- Review cost centers periodically and prepare necessary adjustment entries.
- Prepare Zakat filings in accordance with the regulations of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority, in coordination with external auditors.
- Review tax invoices and ensure proper recording in the system.
- Participate in the preparation of the company’s annual budget in coordination with other departments and submit it to senior management.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and prepare variance analysis reports, including explanations and recommendations.
- Review payroll-related financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Review accounting systems and monitor workflow efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
- Prepare financial analyses related to company activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Support the automation and enhancement of financial systems and accounting procedures.
- Identify departmental resource needs and follow up on their availability.
- Prepare periodic reports on departmental performance and development initiatives for management review.
- Monitor accountants’ adherence to policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the direct manager or the administration within the scope of the role.

- المساعدة في وضع وتطوير وتنفيذ وتقييم أهداف إداراة الشؤون المالية وتطوير وإدارة الميزانية السنوية للإدارة
- مراجعة جميع العمليات المالية وتدقيقها ماليا ونظاميا من ناحية المرفقات ودقة الحسابات وصحة التواقيع والصلاحيات والاستلامات والاعتمادات للتأكد من مطابقتها للسياسات والإجراءات المعتمدة
- إعداد المطابقات اللازمة لحسابات الشركة مع حسابات الأطراف الخارجية التي تتعامل معها لمختلف الحسابات بما يضمن صحة الأرصدة بالنظام
- متابعة أي مستحقات على الشركة أو لصالحها وإثباتها بالنظام عن طريق قيدها على االنظام أو لحسابات الموردين أو الأطراف الأخرى
- إعداد القوائم المالية ونتائج الأعمال للسنة من خلال تقديم كافة المعلومات المطلوبة عن طريق نظام التشغيل
- مراجعة القيود والبيانات المحاسبية بنظام المحاسبي وعمل المقارنات المطلوبة
- مراجعة البيانات المطلوبة للحسابات الختامية والميزانية العمومية وإعداد قيود التسويات
- مراجعة عمل البيانات المطلوبة لإعداد الموازنات التقديرية وإعداد بيانات المقارنة بين الفعلي والتقديري
- إصدار تقارير المتابعة الدورية لعمليات المالية المختلفة
- مراجعة المطالبات المالية ومتابعة عمليات التحصيل وفحص حسابات الذمم
- مراجعة المطالبات الدورية لحسابات الأصول الثابتة في السجلات التفصيلية
- متابعة العهد المالية الموجودة مع الموظفين والتأكد من استعراضها في المواعيد المحددة
- فحص مراكز التكلفة دورياً، وإصدار قيود التسويات اللازمة
- إعداد إقرار الزكاة وفقاً لأنظمة هيئة الزكاة والدخل بالتعاون والتنسيق مع المحاسبين القانونيين
- مراجعة الفواتير الضريبية ورفعها على النظام -
- المشاركة الفعالة في إعداد الميزانيات التقديرية للشركة بالتعاون والتنسيق مع الإدارات الأخرى ورفعها للمدير العام
- مراقبة النتائج الفعلية للشركة ومقارنتها مع الميزانية التقديرية وإعداد تقارير دورية بالانحرافات بين الأرقام الفعلية وأرقام الميزانية التقديرية وشرح أسباب هذه الانحرافات والتوصيات اللازمة لمعالجة أسبابها
- مراجعة جميع العمليات المالية الخاصة بالرواتب وتدقيقها ماليا ونظاميا من ناحية المرفقات ودقة الحسابات والاستلامات والاعتمادات للتأكد من مطابقتها للسياسات والإجراءات المعتمدة
- مراجعة الانظمة المحاسبية ومتابعة سير عمل
- مراقبة صحة الالتزام بتطبيق النظام والسياسات المالية
- اعداد التحاليل المالية الخاصة بأنشطة الشركة
- إنشاء وتوطيد العلاقات المشتركة بين الشركة والمؤسسات المصرفية والمالية
- أتمتة الأنظمة المالية والإجراءات المحاسبية بهدف رفع كفاءة وجودة الأعمال المالية في الشركة
- تحديد احتياجات الاقسام من الأجهزة والموارد ومتابعة توفيرها
- اعداد تقارير دورية بإنجازات الإدارة والاقتراحات لتطويرها ورفعها للمدير المباشر
- مراقبة مدى تقيد والتزام المحاسبين بالقواعد العامة والسياسات والإجراءات
- القيام بأي مهام يكلف بها من الرئيس المباشر أو الإدارة وتتعلق بطبيعة عمله
English
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
From 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
