About This Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Finance Manager to support the Finance Manager in overseeing daily financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in budgeting, financial analysis, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, highlighting variances and trends
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial regulations
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations
- Coordinate with other departments on financial matters
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus
