About This Role
Assistant Finance Manager – Costing
Process/Operational
- Ensure accurate Product costing through periodic cost runs
- Costing & value chain analysis for all NPDs
- Preparation of Plant Efficiency reports & month-end MIS reports
- Monitoring production costs and analyzing variances between Budget and actual costs
- Preparation of Cost Benefit Analysis & Validation of Cost savings
- Control over BoMs & recipes & assure their accuracy in the system
- Calculate and monitor yield analysis and process losses
- Updating of monthly conversion cost report
- Conduct timely physical stock verification & inform the reasons for variances
- Evaluation of Slow moving/Non-moving stocks and ensure proper provisions
- Preparation of weekly Stock position & Mark to Market report
- Assisting the Manager during month-end closing, Budgets, Quarterly presentations & Project evaluations
- Any other Ad-hoc reports required
Education & Experience
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA) / Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 3-5 years of experience in Costing with at least 2 years in a large organization handling Plant costing.
Specific Knowledge
- Mandatory experience in SAP – CO module
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Fluency in English, Arabic knowledge is added advantage
