Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field, accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers.
- Professional engineer registration or licensure may be required.
- At least four years of architectural design consultancy experience is described as strongly desired; at least three years of project management experience is requested.
- Familiarity with design software, map-creation software, and photo-imaging software.
Tools and capabilities
- Software examples include ArchiCAD, BIMX, Civil 3D, Autodesk, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, accurate calculations and design, and problem-solving ability.
- Strong organization, communication, time management, leadership, and project coordination skills.
Civil engineering responsibilities
- Develop detailed designs, conduct feasibility assessments and site inspections, and prepare project plans and estimates.
- Review regulations; monitor safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Present recommendations and alternative solutions; liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other professionals.
- Manage project budgets, resources, schedules, deadlines, and quotes; coordinate multiple projects.
Pay
- The description states pay of AED 300–3,500 per month.
