Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Crewing Officer to support our crewing operations by managing and maintaining seafarer documentation and ensuring compliance with company, flag state, client, and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will assist in the preparation, verification, and monitoring of crew documents and provide administrative support to the Crewing Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and maintain crew documentation for deployment and vessel assignments.
- Ensure all seafarers' certificates, licenses, visas, passports, medical certificates, and training records are valid and up to date.
- Coordinate with crew members regarding document renewals and missing requirements.
- Update and maintain accurate crew records in the crewing database and filing systems.
- Assist in processing crew changes, embarkation, and disembarkation documentation.
- Liaise with manning agencies, training centers, medical clinics, embassies, and other relevant parties as required.
- Monitor document expiration dates and provide timely reminders for renewals.
- Ensure compliance with MLC, STCW, flag state, and company requirements.
- Prepare reports and documentation requested by management, clients, and auditors.
- Support the Crewing Officer and Crewing Manager in daily administrative and operational tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Pay: Up to AED3,000.00 per month
