This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about accounting and finance and is looking to build a successful career in a dynamic logistics environment.
The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations and help maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recording daily financial transactions and maintaining accounting records.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of expenses, payments, and company accounts.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management summaries.
- Support VAT documentation and compliance requirements.
- Organize and maintain financial files and accounting documents.
- Assist with audit preparations and other finance-related tasks as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
