About The Role

Production & Assembly

• Prepare ingredients and components required for daily production
• Assist with the assembly of cheeseboards, dessert items, grazing products, and other menu offerings
• Follow recipes, portion guides, and presentation standards accurately
• Ensure all products are assembled consistently and according to company guidelines
• Support the team during busy production periods and large orders

Baking Assistance

• Assist with baking preparation, including measuring ingredients and preparing equipment
• Support the baking team with daily production tasks as instructed
• Help monitor product quality and consistency throughout the preparation process
• Maintain organized workstations and ensure ingredients are properly stored

Packaging & Order Preparation

• Package products carefully and neatly to maintain Yellow Block's presentation standards
• Label and organize completed orders accurately
• Prepare orders for dispatch and coordinate with the team to ensure timely completion
• Conduct final quality checks before products leave the kitchen

Kitchen Operations

• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the production area
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
• Assist with stock rotation and monitoring ingredient levels
• Support with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed
• Contribute to general kitchen duties to ensure smooth daily operations

What We’Re Looking For

• Previous experience working in a bakery, coffee shop, café, pastry kitchen, or similar food production environment
• Strong understanding of food handling, hygiene, and kitchen safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to support different areas of production
• Team-oriented with a dependable and proactive approach to work
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
• Organized, punctual, and able to follow instructions consistently
• Flexibility to assist with varying production needs and seasonal demand

Work Structure

• Full-time, on-site role based in our Al Quoz 3 production kitchen
• Rotating schedules may be required based on operational needs and peak periods
• Team members are expected to support one another and contribute wherever needed to ensure smooth production

• Commercial kitchen equipment and baking tools
• Digital scales and portioning equipment
• Packaging and labeling materials
• Internal production checklists and order schedules
• Food safety and hygiene procedures
• Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per hour
