Position: Artisan Baker

Requirements

• Minimum **2 years of professional baking experience**.
• Experienced in preparing and baking:
• Sourdough bread
• Babka
• Cinnamon rolls
• Cookies
• Croissant
• Specialty pastries and laminated or enriched doughs
• Strong understanding of dough fermentation, proofing, baking techniques, and ingredient functionality.
• Able to maintain consistency, quality, and presentation in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience with recipe scaling, batch production, and minimizing waste.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organization.
• Able to work independently while also collaborating with the kitchen team.
• Passionate about keeping up with bakery trends and continuously improving products.
• Comfortable working early morning shifts when required.

Preferred

• Experience in specialty cafés, artisan bakeries, or high-volume bakeries.
• Ability to contribute ideas for seasonal and limited-edition baked goods.
• Experience with menu development and recipe refinement is an advantage.
