include: · Conducting patrols and security checks to prevent unauthorized activity · Monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas · Screening for prohibited items and enforcing site policies · Responding appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergencies · Assessing situations quickly and making sound decisions under pressure · Utilizing de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts safely and professionally · Collaborating with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary · Conducting access control and identification verification · Preparing detailed incident and activity reports · Maintaining security equipment and reporting deficiencies · Supporting investigations through accurate documentation and information gathering What Makes a Successful Armed Security Professional? Required Qualifications · Active Tennessee Armed Security License · Dallas Law Certification · Valid Driver's License · Reliable transportation · Experience conducting patrols and managing security incidents · Strong report-writing and documentation skills · Knowledge of emergency response procedures · Familiarity with access control and identification verification processes · Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Preferred Qualifications · Active Shooter Certification · First Aid and CPR Certification · Experience working in school, commercial, hospitality, or event environments · Experience with surveillance and security equipment · Military, law enforcement, executive protection, or professional security background
