Role overview

Branch and operations leadership

• Own branch P&L and business performance; lead daily trucking and transportation operations while ensuring service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage vendors and transport partners to maintain service delivery and operational performance.
• Own customer relationships, respond to feedback and service issues, and identify continuous-improvement opportunities.
• Lead and develop the branch team, setting objectives and supporting accountability and engagement.
• Drive business growth, customer acquisition, and expansion; coordinate with national teams and stakeholders on financial, operational, and strategic objectives.
• Improve processes, implement best practices, and support solution development, pricing, and customer proposals.
• Build strong relationships across customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Experience and qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of relevant experience in road transportation or contract logistics.
• Requires proven trucking or road transportation operations-management experience and prior team leadership.
• Requires understanding of P&L management, commercial performance, and business growth.
• Candidates should balance operational delivery with strategic and commercial perspective and demonstrate strong customer and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing vendors, transport partners, and service delivery is required.
• Must be able to drive operational excellence while maintaining customer satisfaction and profitability.
