As a Project Logistics Control Tower Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading operational and customer service activities for strategic project cargo movements throughout their lifecycle. Working closely with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders, you will help drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business growth while supporting a team responsible for complex logistics solutions.

Located in Houston, Texas, this position is ideal for a logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading teams, and has a strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, particularly within project logistics and ocean freight.

In this role, you will lead a team responsible for coordinating complex project logistics shipments while ensuring exceptional customer service, operational performance, and profitability.

Lead and support Control Tower operations for project cargo movements, ensuring effective execution throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Serve as a key escalation point for customers and team members, delivering proactive solutions and maintaining strong client relationships.

Drive operational efficiency, process improvements, and service excellence while ensuring customer requirements and KPI expectations are met.

Support pricing, shipment execution, supplier coordination, and project profitability while identifying opportunities to improve performance and customer outcomes.

Coach and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused culture across the organization.

We are looking for a customer-focused logistics professional who combines strong freight forwarding expertise with effective leadership and problem-solving skills.

5+ years of freight forwarding experience, preferably within Project Logistics or complex transportation environments.

2+ years of previous supervisory, lead, or management experience within freight forwarding operations.

Strong ocean freight experience; Project Logistics and EPC project exposure are highly preferred.

Experience managing customer relationships, escalations, and operational performance.

Knowledge of freight forwarding operations, pricing, shipment execution, and supplier coordination.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple activities effectively.
