Area Manager Wealth Management – Emiratisation
We are currently looking for strong Emirati nationals for a leadership role as Area Manager with a leading financial services firm.
This opportunity sits withthe Wealth Management division and offers a blend of client ownership, revenue generation, and team leadership exposure, making it ideal for candidates looking to step into broader responsibilities.
Role Overview
- Manage and grow a portfolio of wealth management clients
- Drive revenue through new business acquisition and expansion of existing relationships
- Support and collaborate with a team of 10–15 Relationship Managers, contributing to performance and development
- Provide market insights and strategic input to enhance client engagement and product positioning
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies
Key Requirements
- Mandatory experience within the banking sector
- Strong understanding of liability products and wealth management solutions
- Exposure to or awareness of Shariah-compliant / Islamic banking practices
- Prior experience as a Team Leader or Manager, with the ability to guide and influence a team
- Proven track record in client relationship management, sales, and portfolio growth
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong banking background, preferably within Islamic / Shariah-compliant banking
- Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring teams (Team Leaders ready to step up are encouraged)
- Solid commercial acumen with a focus on client acquisition and retention
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; relevant financial certifications are a plus
