Smacks is a fast-growing restaurant chain with 13 locations across the United Kingdom and an expanding international presence, including our branch in Dubai.
With more openings planned, we are focused on building a strong leadership team to maintain consistency and excellence across all our restaurants.
The Role
We are specifically seeking an experienced Area Manager who is currently based in Dubai and interested in relocating to the United Kingdom to lead operations across the Smacks UK restaurant network.
This is a relocation opportunity for a Dubai-based hospitality professional to join the Smacks leadership team in the UK.
The successful candidate will oversee all UK branches while also maintaining operational oversight of our Dubai location through occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee operations across all Smacks UK restaurant locations
- Ensure every branch operates in line with Smacks company standards
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and performance reviews
- Maintain consistency in food quality, customer service, and operational excellence
- Support, train, and develop restaurant managers and their teams
- Identify operational gaps and implement improvements
- Monitor KPIs and ensure branch targets are achieved
- Travel to Dubai when required to support and oversee the existing branch
Requirements
- Currently living and working in Dubai
- Willing to relocate to the United Kingdom with company support
- Proven experience in a multi-site, area management, or regional management role within restaurants or hospitality
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and operational standards
- Willingness to travel internationally when required
