Metso India seeks an Area Service Manager for crushing and screening equipment service operations.
The role is based in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, and covers Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and North Jharkhand.
The manager works with Service Engineers, Technicians, Product Support, Sales, and Spare Parts teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage service, installation, and commissioning for track-mounted and stationary crushing and screening plants.
- Handle breakdowns, troubleshooting, and technical issues involving Metso/Nordberg equipment and IC automation.
- Manage preventive maintenance, warranty claims, and service contracts, including LCS and LCS Lite.
- Build customer relationships and improve satisfaction and retention.
- Lead Service Engineers and Technicians across the territory.
- Grow service business through spare parts sales and service orders.
- Train customers and team members; coordinate with Product Support, Sales, and Spare Parts to resolve customer issues.
- Monitor regional service performance and field service delivery; travel extensively to support customers and operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or B.Tech in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 6–10 years of service operations experience with heavy equipment, crushing and screening plants, or mining equipment.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and automation.
- Experience with installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown troubleshooting.
- Customer relationship management, problem-solving, leadership, team management, communication, and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and North Jharkhand.
