Architectural & ID CAD Technician

Role Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, schedules, details, and technical drawings.
• Prepare interior design drawings, including floor finish plans, wall finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, joinery details, and typical details.
• Assist in preparing landscape-related drawings, including hardscape layouts, finishes, levels, and coordination drawings where required.
• Develop detailed joinery and millwork drawings with proper coordination of dimensions, materials, finishes, and construction details.
• Assist in preparing authority approval drawings and documentation related to architectural submissions.
• Coordinate drawings with MEP, structural, and other related disciplines, and highlight any discrepancies or coordination issues.
• Coordinate with the site operation team to clarify drawing details and support site-related technical requirements.
• Assist in checking contractor and subcontractor shop drawings, technical drawings, and material-related submissions.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, properly coordinated, well-presented, and aligned with company standards.
• Update drawings based on internal markups, client comments, consultant comments, authority comments, and site requirements.
• Assist in coordinating architectural and interior finishes, materials, and specifications within the drawing package.
• Maintain organized CAD files, references, drawing records, and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in AutoCAD.
• Experience in architectural and interior design drawing production.
• Good knowledge of technical detailing, joinery details, materials, finishes, and specifications.
• Ability to understand and prepare plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and construction details.
• Ability to coordinate drawings with MEP, structural, landscape, and site requirements.
• Experience in reviewing or checking contractor/subcontractor drawings is preferred.
• Basic landscape drawing experience is an advantage.
• Revit knowledge is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Ability to work with the design team, site team, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
