Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other disciplines to support quality, compliance, and timely project completion.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural drawings and design documents; supervise site works for compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with structural, civil, MEP, and other disciplines; review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and technical documents.
- Prepare and respond to RFIs and coordinate design clarifications with consultants.
- Conduct site inspections; review finishes, doors, windows, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, waterproofing, and other architectural elements.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors for workmanship and schedule adherence; identify site issues and coordinate technical solutions.
- Prepare inspection requests, site reports, progress reports, and other project documentation; control approved drawings, revisions, and records.
- Coordinate with consultants and authorities on approvals; participate in site and coordination meetings.
- Assist with quantity take-offs, variations, and material requirements; monitor project progress and report delays and technical issues.
- Assist with snagging, rectification, testing, and final handover; support the project through construction and completion.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar building regulations, authority requirements, approved designs, specifications, and project standards.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
- Valid MMUP/UPDA certification or registration in Qatar; the posting lists an UPDA certificate as required.
- Relevant Qatar experience in architectural design, supervision, or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, construction details, materials, and finishing works; good knowledge of Qatar regulations and authority requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
- Strong coordination and communication skills; ability to work with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Good understanding of construction quality control and site supervision; a valid Qatar driving license is an advantage.
Compensation
- Pay starts at QAR 7,000 per month; salary will be discussed during the interview.
