The company is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Engineer to join its design team.
Key responsibilities
- Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed working drawings aligned with project goals and client expectations.
- Ensure designs comply with UAE building codes, local authority regulations, and international best practices.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior design teams.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and construction modifications.
- Lead or participate in client meetings, design coordination sessions, and technical workshops with authorities and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior architects and draftsmen.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5–8 years of architectural design experience within the UAE.
- Consultancy background preferred; high-rise or mixed-use project experience (G+10 or above) preferred.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and other design and visualization tools.
- Excellent understanding of UAE building codes, Ajman Municipality procedures, and international design standards.
- UAE Society of Engineers membership or equivalent certification is advantageous.
- Fluent English required; Arabic is advantageous.
- Must be able to commute to Ajman or plan to relocate before starting work.
