Duties
- and Responsibilities
- Review and approve architectural drawings and designs submitted by consultancy offices.
- Follow up on different design stages (Concept – Schematic – Detailed Design – IFC).
- Ensure designs comply with project requirements, codes, and local regulations.
- Provide engineering solutions and value engineering proposals to improve cost efficiency and operational performance without compromising quality.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (Structural – Electrical – Mechanical) to ensure design integration.
- Support Project Managers in resolving design-related challenges or conflicts.
- Participate in technical meetings with consultants and contractors and prepare technical comments.
- Review and approve materials, finishes, and suitable alternatives.
- Supervise design deliverables and ensure quality before tendering or execution.
- Prepare technical and periodic reports regarding design status and progress stages.
- Provide innovative design solutions that align with project requirements and technical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design and preparation of shop drawings.
- Previous experience in real estate development companies or consultancy offices is preferred.
- Proficiency in design software such as: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D Max, BIM.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as: AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, ACC, SketchUp, Navisworks, 3D MAX, or Lumion.
- Good knowledge of local codes, regulations, and standards.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and technical analysis skills.
- Valid accreditation from the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
