Architectural Associate

1.

To conceptualize designs and schematic designs and model the design using 3D software.

2.

Assist project team to coordinate with various parties and to document all discussions and project information.

3.

Job scope would include the following:

a.

To assist Architects on feasibility studies, site assessment and design

b.

Prepare presentations to client, consultants and authorities

c.

To familiarize on code compliance and prepare drawings for Authorities consultation and submissions.

d.

To participate in design development and project coordination that would include coordination with Clients, Authorities and other consultants.

e.

Support the team to prepare documents for calling of tenders, quotations

f.

To attend and document discussions with Client/Users/Project Managers/Authorities

g.

Assist with the replies or approvals to contractors’ submissions/clarifications on time

h.

Prepare letters

i.

Document site progress, prepare and issue revised drawings to clients/consultants/contractors.

j.

Accompany site team/senior architects during site inspections and document the comments.

k.

Assist Architect with verification of works, as-built, defect rectification and handover of works to Client

4.

Work with consultant team to make sure that the building plans meet the necessary building and company standards.

5.

To learn necessary softwares required to do the above.

6.

Any relevant tasks as and when assigned by supervisor.

7.

University degree in architecture or equivalent

8.

Proficient in BIM (Revit), Autodesk software, Sketchup, Rhinoceros, Adobe softwares

9.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

10.

Possess good interpersonal skills and a team player

11.

A hands-on person who is positive, proactive and driven

12.

Meticulous and able to organize work effectively

13.

Workplace in Dubai.
