Architect (Utility infrastructure & bridges)

Role overview

Design and compliance

• Contribute to architectural design across project phases in line with client requirements and project objectives.
• Apply local building codes, safety regulations, and relevant standards, including Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and DEWA requirements.
• Review architectural documentation for quality compliance and identify design issues or project risks.

Coordination and team support

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, construction teams, sub-consultants, and internal disciplines to integrate design and technical requirements.
• Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio environment.
• Use BIM and Revit to produce and coordinate models and drawings with other disciplines.

Industry awareness

• Stay informed about developments in architecture, sustainability, and construction technologies and help incorporate relevant practices and ideas into project work.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering from a recognized university.
• At least 3 years of architectural experience within a reputable architectural firm in the UAE.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Fluency in AutoCAD.

Desired skills

• Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.
• Experience with Dubai Municipality, RTA, Trakhees, or DDA authorities to secure building permits or NOCs is highly desirable.
• Problem-solving ability, creativity, attention to detail, and delivering quality work under tight deadlines are desirable.
