Role Overview

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform conventional and moderately complex architectural assignments using design standards, practices, and techniques.
• Develop original designs, conduct architectural studies, and develop design concepts and criteria.
• Prepare reports, construction specifications, and detailed equipment and material requisitions.
• Review CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Interface with suppliers and coordinate work with engineering and construction teams at the project site.
• Review, approve, and issue detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others.
• Provide a professional architect’s seal and signature when required by statute or contract.
• Provide technical guidance to architectural designers and drafters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant architectural or engineering experience, or a broad general engineering background.
• Professional registration may be required.
