Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience teaching Arabic and/or Islamic Education to primary and middle school students
• Strong knowledge of UAE Ministry of Education curriculum requirements for Arabic and Islamic Education
• Ability to teach

Arabic A and Arabic B

• across Years 1–8
• Ability to teach Islamic Education across Years 1–8
• Experience differentiating instruction for native and non-native Arabic speakers
• Strong classroom management and ability to teach in small-group settings
• Excellent spoken and written Arabic
• Strong English communication skills to collaborate with school leadership, teachers, and parents
• Experience in international, bilingual, private school, or small-group learning environments preferred
• UAE teaching license or eligibility preferred

Core Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Arabic A and Arabic B lessons for students from Year 1 to Year 8
• Teach Islamic Education in accordance with UAE Ministry of Education curriculum requirements
• Differentiate instruction based on students’ Arabic fluency, age, ability, and prior exposure
• Build students’ Arabic vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and comprehension skills
• Develop students’ understanding of Islamic values, practices, stories, ethics, and cultural context in an age-appropriate manner
• Prepare structured lesson plans, learning resources, assessments, and progress documentation
• Track student progress and contribute to internal reports and parent updates
• Support students in developing confidence and positive engagement with Arabic and Islamic Education
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school leadership to support holistic student development
• Support school events, cultural activities, UAE national celebrations, and parent-facing activities where relevant
• Maintain high standards of classroom conduct, student safety, and professional communication
• Follow all safeguarding, health, safety, confidentiality, and school policies
• Participate in staff meetings, training, professional development, and curriculum refinement

Compensation & Benefits

• AED 9,000 – 14,000 per month, tax-free, based on qualifications, experience, and ability to teach Arabic A/B and Islamic Education
