Role overview

Role responsibilities

• Support analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures for water and infrastructure projects.
• Assist in designing tanks, chambers, pumping stations, retaining walls, foundations, pipe supports, kiosks, and other utility structures.
• Prepare engineering calculations, design reports, technical notes, and design documentation.
• Develop structural models using tools such as Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Tekla Tedds, Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Assist with assessments for dead, live, hydrostatic, soil pressure, wind, uplift, and seismic loads or actions.
• Support reinforcement detailing, quantity take-offs, and production of engineering drawings.
• Coordinate designs with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, BIM, and Geotechnical teams.
• Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, and project meetings; apply engineering standards, quality procedures, and digital engineering practices.

Candidate requirements

• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering with a strong academic background.
• Good understanding of structural engineering fundamentals and reinforced concrete design.
• Knowledge of one or more structural design codes and standards, such as Indian Standards or Eurocodes.
• Familiarity with one or more structural analysis and design tools, such as Robot, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Tekla Tedds, SAP2000, or similar.
• Exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; enthusiasm to learn in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively and deliver high-quality technical work.
