Applications Engineer - Temperature Control

Overview

• You will be responsible for preparation of project-specific designs and supporting technical documentation for inclusion in sales bids, detailed design phases, and operational projects.
• Coordinate engineering input across the team and provide expert technical support across project stakeholders.
• What you ll do as Applications Engineer - Temperature Control :
• Liaise with client s technical staff and visit potential job sites, as required, to verify project needs.
• Advise Sales team on project specific design issues and propose engineering solutions.
• Design power/ temperature control packages to suit project needs and maximize use of Aggreko fleet products.
• Design the specification of specialist mechanical equipment in conjunction with ME Engineering team.
• Prepare professional drawings for ME Engineering, such as 3-Dimensional Drawings (3D) & construction diagrams, schematics, Piping and Instrument Drawings (PID), Single line diagram and Site Layouts.
• Perform HVAC heat load calculations, equipment sizing, pressure drop & flow calculations.
• Ensure design complies with relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, ANSI, ASME, IEC, local regulations)
• Prepare project for construction mechanical/piping bill of materials and engineering documents to meet specific job requirements.
• Gives engineering assistance as required to Operational Projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering Team on design support requirements for the complete project life cycle.
