We are seeking a qualified and proactive
QHSE Engineer
to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of
2 years of field experience
in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) operations and be available to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor QHSE policies, procedures, and standards on-site.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements, and company policies.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training for employees.
- Monitor the use of PPE and ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Maintain QHSE documentation, records, and reports.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and safety objectives are achieved.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong background in Health & Safety and Occupational Health, with the ability to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement effective controls.
- Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Safety Engineering, including knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Minimum
- 2 years of field experience
- as a QHSE Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of QHSE standards, regulations, and best practices.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or other relevant HSE certifications will be an advantage.
- ISO 45001/14001/9001 knowledge
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
