About This Role
Role Summary
We are hiring an experienced **APIGEE & WSO2 Developer** for a leading banking technology project in Qatar.
The role involves API development, integration, deployment, and production support across cloud and on-prem environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop APIs using **APIGEE & WSO2 API Manager**
- Build and manage **RESTful services** using Java frameworks
- Integrate APIs with banking systems (Core Banking, CRM, Payments, etc.)
- Implement API security (**OAuth2, JWT, MTLS, API Gateway policies**)
- Configure WSO2 mediation flows, Identity Server, and custom extensions
- Support **Azure cloud, Docker, and hybrid integrations**
- Work with DevOps teams on **CI/CD pipelines & deployment automation**
- Monitor APIs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- **8+ years** in API development & system integration
- Hands-on experience with **APIGEE & WSO2**
- Strong skills in **Java, REST APIs, SQL, Git**
- Experience in **banking/financial systems integration**
- Exposure to **Azure, Docker, and DevOps practices**
Preferred
- Azure Certifications
- Kubernetes & Microservices experience
- Knowledge of banking security / PCI compliance
