The role

Responsibilities

• Build Kotlin and Jetpack Compose experiences for visa discovery, document upload, payments, and application tracking.
• Manage startup time, crashes, ANR rates, app size, and battery use across devices and network conditions.
• Build native experiences for AI-powered document capture and conversational assistance.
• Partner with product, design, and backend teams; run experiments and iterate on features based on data.
• Raise engineering quality through architecture, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.

Ideal candidate

• 3–5 years of Android development experience, including shipping and scaling a consumer app on the Play Store.
• Strong Kotlin, including coroutines and Flow, with hands-on Jetpack Compose and Android Jetpack experience.
• Knowledge of MVVM/MVI or Clean Architecture, Hilt or Dagger, and modularization.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, Retrofit/OkHttp, Room, and offline-first patterns.
• Experience measuring app health with tools such as Firebase Crashlytics, Android Profiler, and analytics or experimentation SDKs.
• Exposure to CameraX, ML Kit or on-device ML, payment integrations, Kotlin Multiplatform, or high-compliance domains is a plus.
