The Android Developer designs, develops, maintains, and enhances Android applications.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications based on product requirements.
- Write maintainable Kotlin and/or Java code and build responsive interfaces following Android design guidelines.
- Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, and backend systems; collaborate with product, design, and development colleagues.
- Troubleshoot bugs and performance issues; optimize speed, stability, security, and device compatibility.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and planning; write and maintain unit and automated tests.
- Support releases, version updates, and ongoing technical improvements.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java and a solid understanding of Android development fundamentals.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and mobile application architecture.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, Git, and version control workflows.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive layouts, and mobile performance optimization.
- Knowledge of debugging, testing, and application security best practices.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently and with remote teams.
- Three or more years of professional Android development experience is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
