Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable dbt and SQL data models.
- Transform complex raw data into reliable datasets for analytics and reporting.
- Develop and optimize the data modeling layer with data engineers, analysts, and business teams.
- Improve data quality and establish reusable, consistent data structures.
- Help develop a modern cloud data warehouse and make data accessible and trustworthy for analytical use cases.
Skills and experience
- Strong Analytics Engineering experience focused on data modeling and transformation.
- Hands-on dbt experience building, testing, and maintaining scalable data models.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex query writing and optimization.
- Experience with modern cloud data warehouses; BigQuery/GCP is preferred.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ELT processes.
