Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in chemistry is required. Must have at least two (2) years experience working in a quality control lab. Must have experience in product measurement/inspection and/or aspects of quality control/quality assurance. Must have proven ability to work with high level of attention to detail. Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have demonstrated success working in a team environment. Must have demonstrated success authoring technical reports. Must be self-motivated; show initiative with minimal supervision. Must be capable of leading multi-disciplinary teams. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD or MS degree in Chemistry is highly desired. Experience operating analytical instruments such as ICP-MS, ICP-OES, XRF, Pycnometers, LECO, automated titration units and IC units is desired. Experience with Laboratory Information Management System is desired.
