About the role

Responsibilities

• Analyse fund profit and loss accounts across asset classes to support performance reporting.
• Estimate and review fund NAV daily, weekly and monthly, including accrued income and expenses.
• Reconcile custodian, prime broker and internal investment-engine records; investigate and correct breaks.
• Reconcile final NAVs with fund administrators and maintain asset manager price data integrity.
• Deliver reporting and analytics using internal tools and databases; contribute to process improvement and automation.
• Provide trade support, fund-of-funds trade execution, corporate action processing, investment restriction monitoring and liquidity management as needed.
• Improve systems, controls and workflows; learn programming tools to enhance processes and reporting.
• Collaborate with colleagues and departments, communicate findings and recommendations, and develop investment operations knowledge.

Technical competencies

• Strong analytical problem-solving, attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicate effectively and raise questions confidently.
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly and a strong understanding of traded financial instruments.

Advantageous experience and qualifications

• Financial services experience, typically in investment banking, asset management or treasury, is advantageous but not required.
• CFA or accounting qualifications, or study toward them, are advantageous but not required.
• Experience with feeder/master fund structures and knowledge of fund accounting are advantageous but not required.
