Role overview

Responsibilities

• Improve how American Express content performs across search engines and large language models.
• Help ensure content is indexed, interpreted, trusted, and surfaced in AI-generated responses.
• Collaborate across teams on technical SEO, structured data, and AI-ready content optimization.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of SEO experience; agency or in-house experience is acceptable.
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Conductor, SEMrush, Google Search Console, or Adobe Analytics.
• Advanced technical SEO and web architecture knowledge, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Exposure to or interest in Generative AI for SEO workflows.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
