Analyst I on the Immunochemistry team analyzes serum, plasma, and tissue samples to assess assay-substance concentration, toxicity, and stability for drug safety and efficacy studies.
Responsibilities
- Perform sample analysis using ELISA, ECL, hybridization, and extraction techniques.
- Prepare and check availability of literature, samples, solutions, materials, and equipment for laboratory activities.
- Compile and present clear, readable, complete data, then analyze results against expectations.
- Follow procedures and study plans and comply with Good Laboratory Practices.
Minimum qualifications
- DEC in Science (Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory, or equivalent) or BAC in Science (Immunology, Biology, or Biochemistry).
- Able to work under time constraints and adapt to changes; strong organizational skills.
- Autonomous, meticulous, and detail-oriented.
Location and workplace
- Laboratory role at the Ville St-Laurent site; the role-specific address is 7170 rue Frederick-Banting, Saint-Laurent, QC, H4S 2A1.
- Free parking is available.
Compensation and employment
- Salary is $23.75 per hour, with an annual performance-based bonus.
- Permanent, full-time position at 37.5 hours per week.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.; overtime may be required depending on business needs.
