Analyst – Analytics and Visualization

Key Role Accountabilities

• Responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and support of rich, interactive data visualization products with superior quality, and adherence to project delivery deadlines.
• Rapidly iterates, prototypes, and implements visualizations that meet end-users visualization needs, considering composition, color, texture, and optimizing the depth and information density for the target user.
• Accountable for collaborating with external stakeholders such as Ministry of Public Health, Joint Commission International (JCI) and others to collect, design, implement and submit the required data measures. This includes coordinating with relevant internal departments to comply with standard methodologies of data collection and reporting.
• Works closely with Data Engineers, Data Architects and ETL Engineers to continuously enhance the logical and physical design of the Enterprise Data-warehouse (EDW) and Data Marts.
• Leverages Data Mining and Predictive Analytics models and algorithms to analyze complex data sets (both clinical and non-clinical) with the eventual goal of fostering patient care, decision making and clinical outcomes.
• Plays an active role and establishing and managing Data Governance and Master Data Management programs.
• Actively participates in the development, application, and documentation of Analytics processes, best practices and SLAs.
• Actively participates in building a high performing culture that promotes innovation, creativity and collaboration.
• Provides expert advice on trends in healthcare IT, clinical systems, Analytics and Big Data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ of experience working in analytics and/or business intelligence including:
• Experience in designing and building Dashboards and reports using Data Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) and reporting tools (e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, Oracle OBIEE etc.)
• Experience in the issues surrounding very large databases in the terabyte range including the options available to evaluate and propose various performance alternatives.m.
• Experience in the performance options available at the ETL, reporting tool, database and hardware levels and how to evaluate those options relative to a given project.
• Experience implementing with various data integration tools.
