Role Summary

Responsibilities

• Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts and follow up on open items.
• Ensure accounting complies with US GAAP and maintain effective internal controls.
• Execute intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Perform cash application and netting for intercompany customers and vendors.
• Prepare and post rule-based journal entries.
• Complete book-closing activities with local teams and the business.
• Review and resolve internal and external audit queries.
• Coordinate with local teams, respond to business queries, and resolve issues.
• Perform accounting and compliance activities under defined SOPs and SOX guidelines.
• Review SOPs and recommend process changes.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, quarterly CFN submissions, 10K forms, annual submissions, and GL analysis.
• Participate in standardization, continuous improvement, and business partner initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Proven understanding of Ind AS, US GAAP, and IFRS.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP is mandatory.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements.
• High emotional intelligence for high-pressure audit seasons.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for independent auditor interaction.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Advanced Excel, and Google Suite.
