AMI- Mechanical Assembler (Mon-Fri 6:30am-3pm)

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent
• Mechanical assembly experience, preferably in heavy-duty equipment, industrial tools, or welding systems.
• Solid understanding of pneumatic and mechanical systems; hydraulic experience is a plus.
• Strong ability to interpret mechanical drawings, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and assembly instructions.
• Manual dexterity, mechanical intuition, and pride in precision.
• Comfort working with metal parts, sharp edges, and a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Working Conditions
• This position is based in a dynamic manufacturing facility, where safety, precision, and teamwork come first.
• You’ll be working around industrial machinery, mechanical components, and occasionally near welding and cutting operations.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times on the shop floor, including:
• Hi-visibility vest
• Safety glasses
• Steel-toed safety shoes
• The role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) throughout the day in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to noise, metal dust, and varying temperatures may occur depending on the area of the facility—don’t worry, we’ve got strong safety protocols in place to keep you protected.
• You’ll work closely with other assembly technicians, engineers, and quality inspectors in a collaborative, hands-on team setting.
• Occasional overtime may be required to meet production demands.
