Allocation and Replenish Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop sales forecasts and analyze demand forecasts for assigned departments.
• Analyze seasonality trends and coordinate with buyers and planners on inventory-plan tracking and execution.
• Determine optimal inventory positions for each SKU and analyze data to recommend inventory-target changes.
• Establish safety-stock targets and collaborate with others to support recommendations.
• Adjust forecasts and replenishment strategies to optimize inventory investment.
• Establish, maintain, report, and analyze KPIs for forecast accuracy, demand variability, inventory, and backorders.
• Optimize merchandise flow from distribution centers to stores.
• Monitor purchase-order shipping windows and serve as the primary contact for existing vendors.
• Work on department-sponsored projects and process improvements; support vendor collaboration with forecast data.
• Execute supplier purchase orders based on inventory needs.

Education and experience

• 2–4 years of experience.
• College education is preferred.
