About the Role
Unique Courier Cargo Services LLC is looking for an experienced
Airfreight Pricing & Operations Coordinator
to support the Airfreight Executives and Operations Team.
The main purpose of this role is to assist with airfreight import and export pricing, rate sourcing, quotation preparation, agent coordination, airline follow-ups, and shipment coordination support.
This is not only a documentation role.
The candidate must be comfortable working on pricing requests, comparing rates, checking routing options, and supporting the team in preparing competitive airfreight solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Airfreight Executives with air import and air export pricing requests.
- Source competitive air import and air export rates from airlines, overseas agents, and service providers.
- Compare buying rates, selling options, routing, transit time, airline schedules, and service levels.
- Support quotation preparation for airfreight import and export shipments.
- Follow up on flight schedules, cargo readiness, space availability, booking options, and routing.
- Coordinate with overseas agents, airlines, customers, transporters, customs brokers, and internal Operations.
- Support documentation checking for air import and export shipments, including AWB, invoice, packing list, COO, and other required documents.
- Maintain pricing records, rate validity, quotation references, and rate history.
- Support Operations with shipment updates, booking details, job coordination, and customer updates.
- Assist in resolving pricing changes, booking issues, documentation discrepancies, and operational concerns.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in airfreight, freight forwarding, pricing, or operations coordination.
- Knowledge of air import and air export procedures.
- Understanding of AWB, chargeable weight, gross weight, volumetric weight, incoterms, and routing.
- Experience coordinating with airlines, overseas agents, transporters, and customs brokers.
- Strong follow-up and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail when checking rates, documents, and quotation details.
- Ability to manage multiple pricing requests and shipment updates at the same time.
- UAE freight forwarding experience is preferred.
