  • Inspect installation quality and witness tests, including insulation resistance, cable, circuit, lighting intensity, and control-system tests.
  • Coordinate integrated testing, approvals, technical workshops, audits, and operational readiness with airport stakeholders and regulators.
  • Maintain records, prepare reports and recommendations, report progress and risks, and support manuals, asset registers, and handover documentation.

Required qualifications and experience

  • At least 10 years of AGL engineering experience covering design review, installation, and commissioning.
  • Experience on major international airport, airfield, or aviation infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with runway and taxiway lighting, approach lighting, apron infrastructure, AGL controls, and airfield electrical networks.
  • Experience in design review, construction supervision, testing, commissioning, airport readiness, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of AGL design principles, ICAO Annex 14 Volume I, FAA AC 150/5340 and 150/5345 series, IEC standards, and airport safety requirements.
  • Experience with AGL design software, lighting calculations, and technical analysis; knowledge of control systems and monitoring platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to manage complex airfield systems.

Preferred qualifications

  • A master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Airport Systems Engineering is advantageous.
  • PE, CEng, or equivalent professional registration is desirable.
  • Airport expansion or greenfield development, EASA requirements, CAT I/II/III systems, A-SMGCS interfaces, FIDIC, and Design-Build/EPC/PMC delivery experience are preferred.
